What is the GITP scheme?

GITP — Government Procurement of Information Technology Products — is a procurement scheme administered by the Digital Policy Office. It maintains a notification list of IT product suppliers across three major categories (network products and infrastructure equipment, server systems, and microcomputer equipment), together with reference technical and maintenance requirements.

Government bureaux and departments can use the scheme to invite registered suppliers to quote for IT products and related services through the e-Procurement System, including single purchase orders of up to HK$1.35 million each. As a registered GITP supplier, GNS can provide software and system maintenance support services through this channel.
